Meet the Inventor of the EarthKare Kup(TM), Glenn Tobias. Businessman,  Inventor,  Writer & Earth loving human...Glenn Tobias invented & meticulously designed the EarthKare Kup(TM) with the award winning, unique globally patented living hinge attached lid.  

Moving to Los Angeles from New York, Tobias has worked in entertainment as a screenwriter in both film & television lending his vision as a creative inventor.  In true visionary / perfectionist style, Tobias would not release the EarthKare Kup(TM) to market for several years (see the Kup History page for more). 

Precise engineering and relentless revisions were necessary to duplicate Glenn's vision for the EarthKare Kup(TM) with an end goal to revolutionize the disposable beverage cup and food packaging industry.  Offering the market a better functioning Kup with net zero negative impact on the climate.  

Tobias realized there were two problems with disposable beverage cups. First, standard disposable coffee cup lids regularly leak. How many times have you been on your way to an important business meeting, taken a sip of coffee and find yourself walking into a board room with embarrassing coffee stains all over your shirt, pants or dress?  

Second, is the twofold issue highlighted on our homepage. The sheer waste and impact on the environment is dramatic & unsustainable.  500 billion disposable cups are consumed annually. 16 billion in the US alone, dramatically impacting our climate crisis, filling our landfills and contributing to wide spread deforestation.  

With the EarthKare Kup(TM) we radically impact the climate crisis and improve consumer satisfaction with improved function & utility. In fact, Tobias's design is entirely leak proof (aside from the sip / straw hole). For those residing in California reading this, we promise you drinking out of the EarthKare Kup(TM) will be nothing like sipping a soda from a paper straw. In fact our customers love the ease of having a built in lid that perfectly seals....we have yet to have a single complaint of spilt coffee on a users wardrobe!
